Privacy Policy
Range Operations ("we", "our", or "us") is a service of Falconer Operations Group LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit rangeoperations.com, use the Range Master: Outdoor Range mobile app, or engage our services. We take privacy seriously, especially given the sensitive operational details our clients share with us.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit a contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, organization, state, deadline, and a basic description of your requirement.
Automatically collected information
When you visit our public website, our hosting and analytics providers may process limited technical information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring site, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to maintain site security, understand aggregate site use, and improve our public marketing.
Google Analytics loads only after you select “Allow analytics.” We disable Google advertising storage, advertising personalization, advertising user data, and Google Signals. Page locations sent to Analytics omit query strings. Contact-form contents, facility details, searches, coordinates, names, email addresses, phone numbers, and free-text messages are not sent to Google Analytics.

How We Protect Sensitive Facility Information
We treat range, facility, and operational information as confidential. Sensitive details such as exact firing positions, security configurations, personnel rosters, or any non-public operational data shared with us are not used for marketing or analytics, are not shared with third parties without your written authorization, and are stored using industry-standard security practices. Federal and law enforcement client information is held to additional confidentiality standards as required by the engagement.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only:
- With service providers we use to operate our business (for example, email and form processors), under confidentiality obligations
- When required by law, court order, or to respond to a valid legal request
- With your explicit written consent
The Range Master App
This section applies to Range Master version 1.0.2 for iPhone and iPad. The app does not require an account. Range records stay on your device and are not uploaded to a Range Operations account or cloud-sync service.
Range records
Saved ranges, firing points, people you add, round counts, berm logs, incident notes, settings, and other planning records are stored on your device. We do not receive them. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app can permanently remove them, so keep your own copy of anything important.
Location, maps, and weather
If you grant location permission, the app can use your device location to place a firing point and calculate daylight information. You may instead place a firing point manually. The U.S. Geological Survey receives the requested map area and ordinary network information needed to return imagery. Apple Weather receives the firing-point coordinates and ordinary network information needed to return current conditions only when you request that feature. Range Operations does not receive or build a history of where you go.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed for us by RevenueCat. We never receive or store your payment-card details. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase history and app-generated customer and entitlement identifiers to unlock Premium, restore purchases, support subscriptions, and provide aggregate subscription analytics. RevenueCat may also process ordinary technical details needed to operate its service, such as app version, device and operating-system information, locale, network information, and an IP-derived approximate location. We do not use that information for advertising or cross-app tracking. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Local notifications
If you turn on reminders, iOS schedules and displays them on your device. Range Operations does not use those local reminders to send itself your range records or build a notification profile.
Service providers
We use app service providers only for the functions described above and require them to handle information under applicable privacy and security obligations. Their services may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. See the USGS privacy policies and Apple Privacy Policy.
No ads, tracking, or data sales
The app contains no third-party advertising or Google Analytics. It does not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell, rent, or trade app information. Because the app does not perform that kind of tracking, browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change its behavior.
Cookies and Tracking
The public website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate reporting and, with your approval, Google Analytics cookies for site-use and campaign reporting. You can decline Google Analytics or change your selection at any time through the Privacy choices control. Private applications and operational workspaces are excluded from this website analytics setup.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. Range Operations cannot retrieve app records that remain only on your device. You can delete individual records in the app or remove all local app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling. Data Retention
We retain information we receive for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, answer support requests, maintain required business records, comply with legal obligations, or as documented in an engagement agreement. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their policies and applicable financial requirements. On-device app records remain until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall.
Children's Privacy
The Range Master app, Range Operations website, and consulting services are intended for adults and organizations. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, app, or services change. The current version will be posted here with an updated effective date. When a material app-policy change requires acceptance, Range Master will show the revised legal documents and require acceptance before the user continues.
